At The World-Famous Apollo Theater

 A spectacular one-night-only performance by Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, The Ailey School and AileyCampers.  The Gala Party that follows will feature festive dress, décor and dancing, with music by the famous DJ Ruckus. Benefit for Ailey Arts In Education Programs, including AileyCamp, and scholarships for talented students of The Ailey School.

  • Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater performs Home, Rennie Harris’ work  inspired by stories of people affected by HIV and set to a soul-lifting score of gospel house music
  • Kirven James Boyd performs Takademe, Robert Battle’s high-flying savvy deconstruction of Indian Kathak dance rhythms
  • Alvin Ailey’s timeless Revelations performed by AAADT & students from The Ailey School
